Qurtuba Islamic Academy is a private Muslim School that offers both Islamic and educational instruction. The curriculum is broadly governed by the Department of Education CAPS Policy. Learners will write the public National Senior Certificate Examination in Grade 12, which for successful candidates, results in being awarded with a school-leaving certificate.The school is

What are people saying
The Student portal has been a fantastic tool for my 3 kids.They love the fact that their lessons are always available online and can
be revisited at any time.
As the lessons are uploaded in advance, this allows
them to plan ahead. The calendar allows them to keep track of their upcoming
tasks or assessments and they can also communicate via email with any of their
teachers. The biggest bonus is that the portal allows parents to monitor their
progress.
All parents' wants what is best for their kids. We will move heaven and earth for them. It is rare to find a school that aligns itself with the same type of ideology. QIA amongst all the chaos of the pandemic has managed to stay ahead. QIA maintained their quality of education, and were able to ease concerns pertaining to the success of my kids.
As a parent of students that attend QIA, I was very impressed with the proactive steps taken by QIA when the lockdown began. They had our kids interests at heart and developed a learner portal in record time, that made learning during lockdown achievable. My kids continued with the school syllabus and did not lose out academically. What I love about the learner portal is the fact that I am able to refer to the videos on the portal whenever my child does not understand any work or examination times. This is a huge benefit because they are able to rewatch the lessons at their convenience!
